Haiti : Korean govt to set up garment training centre in Haiti – Apparel News Haiti


Inauguration officielle du Parc Industriel de Caracol 24The Government of South Korea has launched a project to set up a garment training centre at the industrial park in Caracol, a village in the Caribbean country of Haiti, reports Haiti Libre.

The project is being launched through the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), which has allocated US$ 3.5 million for the implementation of the project, as per the agreement signed by KOICA and Haiti’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

The aim of the project is to train unskilled women so they can get employment and also meet the demand of the garment industry, and in the process contribute to employment and income generation and thereby help in poverty alleviation and sustainable economic development of Haiti. via – Apparel News HaitiInauguration officielle du Parc Industriel de Caracol 28.
