This unique collaboration showcases a collection of beautiful handmade designs for the home created by Master Artisans of Haiti. With the collaboration of the Trade Facilitation Office of Canada, the BRANDAID Haiti Project Collection has been developed through the work of BRANDAID Project, a Canadian social enterprise that brings the power of marketing, design and technology to launch artisan microbrands and products for socially progressive consumers.
\”Our government is proud to be part of this great initiative. It is a perfect example of the kind of private sector led partnerships that can help build sustainable economic opportunities and help break the cycle of poverty,\” said the Honourable Christian Paradis, Minister of International Development and Minister for La Francophonie. \”Our government is committed to working with the people of Haiti as they turn their immense talent and potential into long-term prosperity.\”
Featuring some of Haiti\’s most talented artisan/designers and representing five different Artisan communities, the Collection consists of over 50 new products including textiles, home décor, and artifacts, all of which are available at Hudson\’s Bay. All proceeds from the sale of the Collection are being contributed to further the work of BRANDAID Project in Haiti. via – Digital Journal
