USAID Project Works to Improve Farming and Food Security in the Southeast Department

Haitian farmers, students and politicians came out for the annual agriculture fair in Jacmel, Haiti on May 1. The USAID-funded Haiti Title II MYAP project hosted a booth at the Ministry of Agriculture-organized event that displayed improved bean varieties, sweet potatoes and vegetable crops. Here Haiti’s President Martelly visits with ACDI/VOCA’s livelihoods manager, Gardy Fleurantin, agronomist Dol Samuel and Joseph Lambert, an advisor for President Martelly.
