The group comprises 20 adult males, four adult females, five boys and four girls.
Two of the girls, are believed to be below the age of two years.
The Haitians claim they left their homeland last week Saturday, destined for the United States, however poor navigation resulted in their ending up in Jamaican waters.
They say they are fleeing economic hardships and persecution from thugs in Haiti.
Two of the adult males, an adult female, and her baby are in poor health, and had to be assisted to disembark the Coast Guard vessel by soldiers. via – Jamaica Gleaner
